One of his biggest strengths before he coaches one down is his rolodex. He's leveraging that in these interviews. Remember this may be annoying to those of us that listen to every published article/interview, but he is reaching some for the first time.

I much prefer a manual watch. I wear one every day. I only wear a digital watch when I travel, because I don’t care if it gets lost or stolen.

For years I did. Then I didn’t. Now I do because it’s much easier to take a glance at my wrist and say I would love to continue this inane conversation but I have a meeting at a made up time.
