Did someone spray the balls with WD40 instead of tack?

Drop.
Drink.

390 yards and 14 points…
We’re copying Lindenwood’s formula from last week: many yards and few points.

A couple bad throws but that happens. The dropped balls are an issue difference in the game.

Avery Hall gave his all for Appalachian State. Now I wish he’d give a little less. Silence would be better.
Yep. He’s mentioned Poindexter at least three times as an OL today and he’s not even dressed out. Saw him without pads on the sideline.

Defense has played great, FWIW.

Offense has just been beyond pathetic

We can’t burn Dubinion this much early on. He’s got what feels like 25 touches.
We might run 100 plays today!

Should have ran the ball on second down. Frustrating.

Swann needs to take off! More than capable of running.

Swann could have run that one for 6.

Play calling is suspect.

This just might be me but I refuse to believe that teams (mostly G5) can really find immense talent in the portal. There is generally a reason why there are players there in the first place- they didn’t play much. To expect a sudden resurgence with practically a whole new team of basically castoffs is unrealistic. Hopefully we continue to jell but it’s obvious we aren’t there.

Not to pile on but Avery is brutal to listen to. I’m not sure what to compare this to but if a perceived really good power school was struggling against a bad G5 would their announcers talk like ours?

The good news is a lot of this is correctable and not systemic. The good thing is we are not going to be smelling ourselves after this performance in preparation for Southern Miss.

Agreed. We should have 35 on the scoreboard.

Announcers just said the defense kept Lindenwood at -13 yards in the 3rd quarter. The Defense will keep this team competitive, but hopefully the offense figures itself out.
