Re: GA St discussion
I love the coaches decision to let Lewis get over half the carries in a game like this. Great confidence builder foe the freshman and gives Dubs a needed break.
I still see Swan as the better passer and if i had to grade them on pure QB talent then sure, I think I'd still put Swann ahead.....but in JJ I trust. He fits the capabilities of our Oline and offense better.

Re: GA St discussion
Wish we didn't let up quite so much. The big schools never seem to care and just run it up. Sportsmanship I guess? I feel you shouldn't let up until a few minutes left in 4th.

Re: GA St discussion
Kinda feels like a choke even though we’re up 3 scores.
Although that BS roughing call ruined a 5 score lead.

We don’t have style points to go for. If we were undefeated I’d want to run it upmountainman33 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 6:02 pmWish we didn't let up quite so much. Nice win. There are some awful Belt road games including this one. Just get out of there with the W and move on

I hear ya, it worked out anyhow. I'm just wanting to see that Mountaineer never quit etched in their brains.BallantyneApp wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 6:08 pmWe don’t have style points to go for. Re: GA St discussion
We scored touchdowns in the red zone vs getting just a field goal today. Was it Kohl getting more confidence or the play calling from DL. Hope it continues next week. I want to steamroll Coastal!!

Re: GA St discussion
I wish we would have finished a little better, but that was by far the best we've looked all season. We're finally seeing improvement in the areas that were holding us back earlier in the season. GSU as a program is an embarrassment to the SBC and FBS in general.

Re: GA St discussion
So many young guys who need reps to build depth in this team. Everyone loves a large winning margin, but the experience for some of the 2s and 3s is invaluable. Something we haven't seen much of in the past.mountainman33 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 6:02 pmWish we didn't let up quite so much. The big schools never seem to care and just run it up.
