Boone Walmart is ready for the Gold-Out: they had a bunch of gold App State shirts at the main entrance. And a bunch of fans were in the App State gear area getting their gold apparel for tomorrow. Should be fun to see!

Over on CoastalFans, a poster surmised that Coastal is App’s super bowl because we scheduled them for homecoming. Should I tell them we scheduled homecoming for a seasonal change in the plant world (leaf season)? And the league gave us them to play as an afterthought? Or should I just let them keep telling themselves that?

Isn’t it precedent for most colleges to schedule a pansy opponent on Homecoming? Or did miss something?

Yeah, we often have an FCS game for homecoming. Probably helps ticket sales for the less desirable games
