Hope he does. I thought he looked good in the bowl game.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Sun Jan 04, 2026 6:02 pmHe visited and got offered by Colorado. Saw he’s announcing commitment at 7:30, didn’t say where to, but not sure he’s returning, however it’d be amazing if he did.EastTNMountaineer wrote: ↑Sun Jan 04, 2026 5:36 pmDylan Manuel is has reposted 2 things on X about coming back to App

Re: Portal time 25-26
He conveniently announced he was committing at 7:30 and then conveniently announced an offer to a competing school (WVU) at 5:30. Driving up the price as much as he could I guess.

It earned him $500k. Sobering reality that fans making a fraction of the players are asked to fund it.

I realize it’s early in the process, but I’m beyond ready to see some TP players commit to App State

This should be DLO's sales pitch. Come to App work hard make plays get paid $500,000 next year. We should get the agents number. Let him be part of the sales pitch.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 04, 2026 9:34 pmIt earned him $500k. Sobering reality that fans making a fraction of the players are asked to fund it.

Re: Portal time 25-26
There was a brief interview with Jay Williams (the former Duke Guard) last week. He said professional league agents (NBA) typically make a 4% commission. But, college agent were out of control, making 20%.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 04, 2026 9:34 pmIt earned him $500k. Sobering reality that fans making a fraction of the players are asked to fund it.
So, if you have a college client and you move him annually……
If Swann signed for $500K and this is true….$400K to Swann, $100K to the agent.

To be a back up as well. Because Swann isn’t going to beat out Kamario Taylor for the starting QB job.WASU 93 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 6:02 amThere was a brief interview with Jay Williams (the former Duke Guard) last week. Re: Portal time 25-26
If 4,000+ players have to make a decision by January 16th, the next few weeks will interesting to see how the musical chairs work out and which players are not able to secure a chair.

The $500k figure was for Manuel but I imagine Swann is not far off.WASU 93 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 6:02 amThere was a brief interview with Jay Williams (the former Duke Guard) last week. Re: Portal time 25-26
I understand some of these schools have more money than they can possibly spend, and I’m sure AJ is a wonderful young man….but to drop $500k or close to it, for him, shows how truly crazy this whole thing is. I can think of 500,000 better ways to drop half a million dollars.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 7:08 amThe $500k figure was for Manuel but I imagine Swann is not far off.WASU 93 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 6:02 amThere was a brief interview with Jay Williams (the former Duke Guard) last week.
