...If I got it wrong I blame my 2 todler daughters and the lack of sleep they bring to me...MrCraig wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2026 6:49 pmNot sure if you're wrong, or I'm reading you wrong, but the GA State game is in Boone. Then, App heads up to Marshall. The entire schedule alternates home/away, which is kinda fun too.kornegaylw wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2026 2:40 pmWow what a schedule...As a fan this is a dream
A blast from the past in Maine
3 in state rivals....IN A ROW
Bye week after NCSU to get healthy
We don't venture outside of VA/NC/SC until Halloween!
We get our rival on Halloween!!!....Which is a Saturday!
Easy trip down to ATL for GSU which is a get right game before heading Marshall
We avoid having to go to Monroe by hosting ULM which is a get right/cupcake game before SBAMA
We don't play outside NC until October and don't have a flight until November!
Honestly this is a video game schedule!

Re: Sun Belt Schedule Release Date
Word is that LaTech offered $3 mil as an exit fee and CUSA wants $5.5 mil. CUSA has asked for arbitration, likely because they're not confident in going to trial. They'll likely land somewhere in the middle and CUSA will have to release new football schedules, again.

Been there. I'll pray for you. As my granny told me, "Remember, it's just a phase... and the next one's worse."kornegaylw wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2026 3:27 pm...If I got it wrong I blame my 2 todler daughters and the lack of sleep they bring to me...MrCraig wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2026 6:49 pmNot sure if you're wrong, or I'm reading you wrong, but the GA State game is in Boone. That one I don’t like as much. Day game or night game though? Assume night.

Re: Sun Belt Schedule Release Date
South Alabama doesn't want a home game on the same day as the Iron Bowl. If they get a Thanksgiving weekend home game, they always request to move it to Thursday or Friday.
Game time depends on TV since it's a holiday Friday.

Re: Sun Belt Schedule Release Date
That would hurt our attendance if it was in Boone. Assume it may not do well down there either.

It never does well down there, but this may get them over the 1,000 mark.

Re: Sun Belt Schedule Release Date
Tarleton State has reportedly began engaging in meaningful dialogue with the Sun Belt Conference.
This would make the 4th FBS conference to begin negotiating with the Texans as they look to make the FBS jump in 2027.
