Video quailty is awful. It is in stop motion and the enlarge function does not work. Anyone else with these issues?

I know they have a good secondary but it would be nice if we would at least try to throw down the field. Oh wait lets runner Miller up the gut some more...
Defense is going to get tired soon.

Our D has seen plenty of option recently and I think that's helping us today.

Was the PA man chanting defense while we were about to snap the ball?? Is that even allowed? Seems like something Elon or Furman would do.... Stewart with the miss. We've struggled with FGs for years it seems.

I know it's free, but I figure the Sammy folks would like to see replays on touchdowns that App scores. As much as I hate giving up touchdowns, I want to see what went wrong when opponents score.

Missed a big chance right before the half. At least the playbook has opened up a little after the first qtr. Greg Hall may be taking the job from Deuce. Too bad someone can't do the same at Free Safety...

How's this for a name from the past....The PBP guy sounds like Gordon Solie.

I know...If it wasn't for the Blalock missed tackle Samford would likely only have seven points.JTApps1 wrote:Missed a big chance right before the half. They know who signs their paycheck.ebapps1 wrote:The Sammy play by play guys are such HUGE homers it's pathetic. Every Sammy penalty was "questionable".

That said, there were a couple of penalties that were questionable. I thought the hit on your kicker was brutal, but squeaky clean, none the less.

App doesn't respect the wideouts for Samford, doesn't seem too worried about them running past us, selling out to stop the short pass and the run. Samford has a good defense, but started to see opportunities in the second quater, missed field goal really hurts, had a chance to put a knife in them, got to hit that, no excuses.

Maybe it was, but it was declined, so it really didn't happen.Big_Dog1968 wrote:They know who signs their paycheck.ebapps1 wrote:The Sammy play by play guys are such HUGE homers it's pathetic. Every Sammy penalty was "questionable".![]()

Wasn't so much the hit on Martin but rather the TWO blocks in the back on that kick return for a TD. I thought they were good calls

I think we've taken the philosophy that the QB can't complete a pass if he's on his back.moehler wrote:App doesn't respect the wideouts for Samford, doesn't seem too worried about them running past us, selling out to stop the short pass and the run. agree about the announcers for Samford, the obvious block in the back, that notlifed the punt return touchdown, one announcer went nuts, saying that it wasn't a penality. I don't know what the hell he was looking at, it was an obvious call.

Re: *Official ASU vs Lil Sammy In-Game Thread*
Despite our good record, we've been plagued by penalties this year so it's kind of an ongoing sore subject. This game has turned on one penalty and two big plays. The off sides on 3rd down where we would have gotten the stop, followed immediately by a touch down, and of course the awful throw resulting in a pick six. One penalty and two plays = 14 points. We were lucky on the missed field goal. Game was close to getting completely away. The half running out was the only thing that kept that from happening.AppinVA wrote:Maybe it was, but it was declined, so it really didn't happen.
