Unfortunately, Moore=hot button emotions--On BOTH "sides"... Frankly, I wish the good folks here on the MMB, for the sake of putting Appalachian State University ahead of this pettiness, would just drop the "discussions" that compare Jerry to Scott and scratch the scabs right back off the wounds... Dang folks, it's time to heal and move foward!!!

I don't disagree with you on moving on but it is hard to discuss the issues of today without acknowledging the sins of the past as part of the root cause.

Putting Appalachian State first today will neutralize the past sins you speak of and discourage future ones.

Every single person associated with Appalachian, past and present, has daily opportunities to make a positive difference for Appalachian in what one says, the way one acts, in what one wears, the persona one displays, etc. That goes for current and former administrators, staff, coaches, alumni and students.

In math terms: Appalachian State > personal agendas.

I mean if you are not upset with this then you just do not care. Loosing is one thing, this is another

I would think that any App fan who watched the game is upset. I can handle getting beat by a better team, but I tend to get really angry when we beat ourselves. That's basically what we've done two weeks in a row, although I do think Georgia Southern earned the win, we sure made it easy for them. That being said, I'm not ready to bail on the team. We've had glimpses of the potential. I sure would like to see 4 quarters of it!

Losing does suck but I am seeing signs of improvement too. Not the least is the fact that we are actually throwing the ball downfield. We finally are getting a vertical pass game with Lamb that we have not seen since Amanti. I am so tired of the short dink and dump pass game that does not stretch the field.

We are starting to loosen things up! Win the next two and maybe finally things will start to get interesting!
