Re: Excuse of the Week Thread
It's Charlie Cobb's fault.
Did we really just lose to Liberty?!
Dayum!?
1 step forward and about 5 backwards!
We are paying back the football Gods for our 3 consecutive championships, 1 week at the time, and it hurts.![Embarrassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)

An old friend came in from out of town.

Direct after-game quotation...responding to question from Randy Jackson on the ASU IMG Sports Network,,,"We're too small up front and they were knocking us back off the ball all night."
Now, we know that Scott sees what we've been seein' and screamin' about since the Villanova game, eons go.

Thank heaven for our local high school football team up here in Southern Maryland. Chopticon is currently 6 -0. And, get this, they have a kicker that can actually kick a 40 yard field goal. He is a junior. Oh, and they are fun to watch! Go Braves!!

I looked for one all day, but I could never spot a defensive scheme.

Everyone pay attention to ASU66's post. It is the truest thing that you'll read all night.asu66 wrote:Direct after-game quotation...responding to question from Randy Jackson on the ASU IMG Sports Network,,,"We're too small up front and they were knocking us back off the ball all night."

Until we get bigger and stronger, we will continue to get beaten. Many on MMB have seen it since 2010.
I hope and pray something changes.

I agree. We are hell bent on forcing 8 beers into a 6 pack. It does not fit what we have in terms of talent.Saint3333 wrote:I don't like our defensive scheme, I'm going with that one this week.
Re: Excuse of the Week Thread
We have TWO nose tackles 330+. Not sure I understand. That being said I've never liked a 3-4 defense.

It's time to unite, suck it up, and admit that we have created our own "Curse of the Bambino." Just admit it, accept it, and know that Satterfield is toxic.
