Main roads in town are clear. Google Boone web cams and rays weather has web cams too. Don't try to predict snow totals. I'll tell u how much we hot when it's done. Too many people miss and or exaggerate numbers.

You may need 2 of the 3 weather bags the way the Boone weather acts. I still remember leaving Hilton Head years ago in 80+ weather and arriving in Boone to a wind/blowing snow event. It was a Furman game in the 1980's and I was lucky to have a down sleeping bag in my trunk and I put my feet in and pulled it up to my ears to survive. My date went into the nearby dorm during the first quarter. To top it all off App lost.

We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

It's easy to be an internet tough guy. Much tougher to account for the safety or your family while managing your passion for live, in-person App State football. I'm not concerned with the weather at the stadium, I'm concerned about the weather up and down the mountain. I'm not a pansy, I just choose to be reasonable and dwell in reality. You know, be a responsible adult and pansy-ish stuff like that. Of course, if that makes me a "pansy," then so be it.
Im just generally a tough guy I guess. Has nothing to do with being on the internet. I too have young children, 3 year old boy and a 7 month old daughter. I also dwell in reality, the reality being there will more than likely be little to no travel issues on major highways. The high country is far more adept at clearing roads than Charlotte or Greensboro or Atlanta. The weather is just a fun story for everyone to talk about this weekend. Makes for great news and fun water cooler talk but likely will be very anticlimactic like 99% of snows. I love how the word "pansy keeps getting thrown around like I said it.......cause I didn't.
Cool bruh. I'm not sure it's worth it for your "more than likely" prediction. Also, it should be noted, that I haven't made a decision yet about attending. Just don't get the point in calling out people who are weighing their options, but sure let's make them out to be lesser fans. Be tough, bro.
Where did I one call anyone a lesser fan? I simply stated, calm down....its not that bad. Got it Bruh?

All main roads clear. Rivers st clear also. 105 extension is slushy as always. Snow really coming down but doesn't seem to be sticking to road surfaces.

Rain turned to snow halfway up 421 at Stoney creek. Very light slush in a few spots on the road. Got two extra tickets if anybody wants them

Well, I made it! No problem. Roads are just wet. Glad I didn't stay home. Can't wait for this game. I did book a room for the night at exorbitant price but I don't want any problems heading out of town at night so it's worth it. Now let's pound those panthers!!!!

Play ball! Weather reports were on the money. Now let"s go out and impose our will on this bunch. The USA game showed us that the weather is only an advantage if we come out strong and take it to them. Then, they'll stop and think about the cold, the wet and the wind- then we got 'em.
Go Apps!!!
