Tickets for Idaho
These tickets must not be selling very well. Just got an email that price has been cut by $15. Wonder if I could get a $45 refund on the ones I paid full price for?

Re: Tickets for Idaho
Got a feeling this going to be a first round playoff type attendance. Students will be on break as well. I'll be there to blow it out one last time for the year.

Re: Tickets for Idaho
I wouldn't read too much into it. Keep in mind this game is on a day that traditionally has very poor attendance. I myself am currently debating whether I want to do an up and back from Raleigh to make it.

Last chance to see this team for nine months, tailgate time with family and friends, a fresh cut Christmas tree and most importantly a chance to send off these seniors that had nothing to play for the last two years other than the name on their chest. There is no debate for my family, see you there.

Glad to hear it. I'd like to get there but 3+ hours each way with small children tends to change one's calculus.Saint3333 wrote:Last chance to see this team for nine months, tailgate time with family and friends, a fresh cut Christmas tree and most importantly a chance to send off these seniors that had nothing to play for the last two years other than the name on their chest. I understand fully that situation. Orange County to Boone to Cahrlotte that day for me and my five and three year old. They are hoping for snow, they loved the GA St. Game.

Re: Tickets for Idaho
I am in exact same boat, but we are making a weekend of it (well actually just staying Sat night) and going to cut our Christmas tree on Sunday before heading back east. Its a family tradition we have been doing for years - now I get the bonus of a football game that can be planned for months in advance. A win-win situation.97grad wrote:Glad to hear it. Will be there for sure. It's a long, long time 'til next August. What's not to like about a holiday, cut and choose, senior day football weekend at the Rock against a new conference opponent?

Re: Tickets for Idaho
I hear you. We do a half-season package and stay over Saturday night for each game. That avoids the stress of the drive both ways and gives us Sunday to hang around. But it does make for expensive weekends; rooms in Boone aren't cheap, even in November. So if we do Idaho it's going to be on the cheap, hence no overnight stay.AppDawg wrote:I am in exact same boat, but we are making a weekend of it (well actually just staying Sat night) and going to cut our Christmas tree on Sunday before heading back east. Shouldn't be AS bad as first round home play-offs since we have had months to prepare.appbio91 wrote:Got a feeling this going to be a first round playoff type attendance. Students will be on break as well. I'll be there to blow it out one last time for the year.

Re: Tickets for Idaho
Just a suggestion. Rooms in N Wilkesboro aren't as bad price wise, but it would cut into Sunday festivities. That's what we did last Saturday. Made driving easier.97grad wrote:I hear you. Not quite and probably won't be if the winning momentum keeps going.

Re: Tickets for Idaho
Unfortunately, I will miss the Idaho game as well. We will be in Maryland visiting my wife's grandparents. Her grandfather, a WWII vet and Purple Heart recipient, is turning 90 that week and there's a big party. So, I'll be watching the game on my phone.
I have four tickets, and a Library parking pass. I'm not looking to make much on them. If you want them, throw me $60 and they are yours.
