What did you all think seeing them live?

I anticipate a lot of folks will disapprove but this is one old alum (class of 73) who liked them. I don't propose they replace our traditional black but I thought they looked sharp especially with the matching shoes.

I did not like them as a combo. One thing that I did like is that it seemed to make the black A on the helmet stand out.

Edit: I liked the jerseys and I liked the pants. Just not together. The shoes can stay. As Mars Blackmon would say, "Monety,it's gotta be the shoes"

Call me crazy, but I LOVED the gold jerseys. Everyone around me did as well.

I like our identity in the all black. Much more intimidating-looking than the gold. I didn't hate the gold though. At least they looked like football uniforms as opposed to a lot of the crap Nike cranks out these days. They should be worn once or twice a year, tops.

I thought our guys looked good in the gold. The team looked bigger, partially because they just are bigger!!! But I liked them. Still like all black best but the gold looked good.

It means...our brand for YEARS has been all black. That's been our identity. Really don't understand how that needs explaining, but there you go.

I loved them, but I really think they'll look even better with black pants (and the black jerseys with the yellow pants). One thing, I really like the design of those unis. I'd like to see our regular home and away with the same template. It would add just enough color. Overall, we have a great set of unis all the way around. For those that hated them, it could always be worse:

And yes, they looked even worse on TV.

The only problem I had was with the cleats. I kept thinking I was seeing penalty flags when it was just the shoes.

They are my favorite of our alternate jerseys we've had in recent years.

It looks as though we'll be wearing them against Troy on Halloween; I'd like to see the gold jersey with black pants.

Sorry to disagree with most. Hated the uniforms. Way too much yellow! Looked like grown men in pajamas.

We will always have the white block A. Two years ago we decided to add the black Block A. We even have a red white and blue block A. Why not add a Gold block A?

Really liked the monochromatic look. Like all black for home.... also the all gold occasionally and all white on the road. I must say I would not be opposed to the gray unis with the chrome mask. As we all need to remember, the unis are for 17 and 18 yr. olds..... they like the bling.

I was surprised by how much I liked the uniforms on Saturday. I will always like the all blacks and the white block A. but I thought the "gold" ones were really good.

I hated the all yellow (Yaller) look! I think it could have been fine with either black pants/gold jersey or gold pants/black jersey. The gold/gold just didn't look good at all IMO.

They were ok, would have looked better with Black Pants in my opinion. The players looked bigger because the numbers were smaller on the uni's (and they are bigger).
Being that it was warm and sunny, I'm sure the players appreciated them, especially on the Field Turf.
