Re: All Conf teams and awards
We must have one freshman PK in the league for GSU's kicker to win the freshman PK award. I bet Monken is so so proud.

Re: All Conf teams and awards
We are really going to really miss our graduating ALL Conference players.
BLACK SATURDAY
Re: All Conf teams and awards
It is what it is...but I think Miller should've been first team. 2nd leading rusher, and caught a fair amount of passes.
Oh well - make 'em regret it in the playoffs, Steven!

Miller was 1st Team in the media list. I don't have the link but it was on AGS.appgrad wrote:It is what it is...but I think Miller should've been first team. 2nd leading rusher, and caught a fair amount of passes.

Re: All Conf teams and awards
After the season our guys put together in spite of injuries and inexperience, I'm voting the whole bunch of them first team all-conference.

No ol or dline 1or 2nd team? Should be a point of recruiting emphasis?

Re: All Conf teams and awards
Funny as hell. Thats exactly what I thought. They probably blame his missed tries on the refs too. Must be the only freshman kicker in the league. Bless his heart.Appalachman wrote:We must have one freshman PK in the league for GSU's kicker to win the freshman PK award. I bet Monken is so so proud.

Re: All Conf teams and awards
Look again Ronald Blair was 2nd team DL. The others may have simply been over looked due to the massive amounts of attrition on each line. Plus both lines are very young, least of our recruiting needs.Rekdiver wrote:No ol or dline 1or 2nd team? Should be a point of recruiting emphasis?
Appalachian State, Better than your school since 1899!!!!

I also believe Stephen Burns, Devante Harris, and Shaq Counts were on the all freshman team.
