Crowd Noise

Either ESPN has poor microphone placement or KBS is not really rocking. Doesn't sound like much from the crowd. Could be wrong...Anyone at the game. Can you confirm if it's loud or not?

Yep - sounds quiet but announcers keep saying it's electric there.

It was loud. And loud consistently. I just got home and my ears are ringing.

It was very loud throughout the whole game, but extremely loud early on before App started to pull away. The noise in the 1st quarter was insane. Wish their mics had picked up on it better.

That was one of the livest games I've been a part of at KBS and the first thing I see here is some dude whining about how he interpreted the crowd to be on TV. What a blesses life us App Fans have that were reaching for things to whine about.

I think they got their microphones fixed for crowd noise midway through the third quarter. The APP > STATE chant was blasting on TV

It was definitely very loud there and my voice is shot. Sucks that the noise apparently didn't come through very well.

It was LOUD! AND PROUD! Crowd noise caused at least 1 delay on east georgia.

Been going to all games for the last 4 years. Don't think I've saw that stadium more amped up than it was tonight. Student section was completely full 30 minutes before kickoff!

The student section was crazy! I was right in the middle of it and couldn't hear my buddy next to me. I'm not going to be able to talk tomorrow.

Just pulled into my driveway in Greenville SC. The game was tremendous and KBS was definintely rockin tonight. Lost my voice and met biggie from the board. Great game !

The largest student turnout I've seen and they rocked to the end. You guys were awesome.

Not sure how you took that as whining, but it wasn't. I was simply asking for people at the game to confirm that the place was rocking because ESPN had poor microphone placement. All I heard the first half was an occasional girl scream "Go App". As others pointed out, it got better second half. I posted this literally right after kick off.

Yes it was very loud. I dont remember it beig that loud since the championship years 2005-2007. We sit on the east ("State!!") side and my ears were ringing. Great turn out by the students! I dont have hardly any voice left today and my son cannot talk at all. I like it! Let's keep it up for the last 3 home games, the team feeds off of that kind of support.

No voice today! We did our best to keep the "state" side rocking. I saw beerhat tossing his cap throughout the crowd.

Every App in attendance, way to rep!!!

Best atmosphere since Furman semi-final playoff game!!! Student section was rocking and the 203 was rowdy! Throat still sore!!!! Need this for every game!!!
