I kinda think that even if FBS had playoffs beginning this weekend or next that their attendance would be lower than regular season as well. Life happens for everyone and this time of year commitments increase and many trump travelling to a football game. My parents normally attend every home game and playoff game but since my brother has moved to Chicago and now has twins whose birthdays were Wednesday they had to make a choice and the grandkids won out, as they should. Of course I was talking about an inordinate amount of comps. Everybody knows there are always comps given out..even we do it. Giving out comps as rewards, incentivers and recognition is one thing. They sure are. WBT-TV in Charlotte was even saying there were thousands available at $3 a piece. That was at 6:00 PM. Guess they are getting even more desperate to drop them another third.
