The NLI is officially in for OL Madison Malone (6′ 4.5″ 280) of Briarcrest Christian High School in Eads, TN. He’s a Mountaineer!!!

#18 for the day...#23 overall

As far as known commits we still have LB Eric Boggs, DL Rashad Dillard, RB Jalin Moore, and of course WR Shaedon Meadors

WR Shaedon Meadors is not supposed to sign his LOI until 3:45pm today? Hopefully this tweet yesterday was in regards to him signing with App St.

Tweeted yesterday: Coach Justin Stepp ‏@coachjstepp That one I just talked to is gonna change this program! Can't wait to get his fax!!!

Honestly, since it was a dead period with only one call allowed it could have been anyone. He's recruited so many I have to assume he was talking to one of our previous commits until I see otherwise.

I had read somewhere that Shaedon Meadors is scheduled to announce today at 2pm . Is that the info that you have ?

Surprise #1 and 2 could be on the way. I already posted RB Jalin Moore in the commits section. Known about him for a couple of days. Sorry but was asked to keep it quite if possible. Second surprise is one I've suspected since the first visit weekend but won't know for sure until the letter comes in. Stand By.

Sorry. Missed this post. As AppHoops said it's going to be around 4. I've seen everything from 3:45 to 4:15 listed.

In the least shocking news of the day WR Matthew Eaton (6′ 5″ 200) of Pascagoula High School in Pascagoula, MS has signed with Temple. Good luck to him there.

Yeah Eaton is now an Owl. As soon as he decommitted I pretty much kissed him off. Makes keeping Meadors a necessity.

The first one was Moore's commitment, so I would assume the second one would also be good news.

It was mentioned a few days ago that Jordan Noil decommitted from Maryland and did visit App with his high school teammate earlier.

I wonder if this may be one of the surprises if we can land him??

would love to know the thought process of Eaton choosing Temple, he obviously loved all the attention he got during the recruiting process, and he seems to be a kid who might need his ego stoked to stay motivated, so if that's true, why would you go play at a school that consistently one of the worst programs in the FBS, playing in front of15 thousand in a stadium that seats 75 thousand, in a city that could care less about supporting collage football? Wish him well, hope it works out for him, but still, strange.
