We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

2015: 173 yards/game, 60% completion, 31:9 ratio, 34 rushing/game, 5 TDs
2016: 183 yards/game, 61% completion, 11:8 ratio, 22 rushing/game, 5 TDs
I think we'll see his TD:INT ratio improve dramatically his senior year.
So he threw for 31 TDs last year and is not even half that with two games to go? Is this stat line accurate? If so, is that all on the receivers? Asking for a friend.
To play devil's advocate, did the 2015 receivers cover up some of the inaccurate throws? The answer is likely somewhere in the middle.
We've seen QBs in the past plateau or even digress and come back to have a great senior campaign.
I think this also depends on our ability to run the ball which we seem to prefer to do.
I think criticism is okay if it is done constructively. I think Lamb is a good quarterback and will go down as one of the best ever at App. However, he does seem to get happy feet occasionally, his accuracy and strength are sometimes questionable, and I had hoped to see him improve more since last year. Maybe his best improvement will come between now and next year...

I would say that his statistical decline are a by-product of several areas. We have two stud RB's and an offensive line that is very good which lends to us throwing less. We have a very young WR corps this year. I would rebuke the notion that our more experienced receiving corps didn't mask any deficiencies given that his completion percentage is around the same.

We'll see how some of you guys feel when we're 5-7 in a few years and struggling to choose between three mediocre qb's. It's a possibility he'll the most steady, stable, consistently winning qb we'll have for the next decade.

He did! It was fun to watch. Just to put things in perspective though, ULM has one of the 10 worst defenses in college football.

If this is the case, then i think most of us will be more concerned about the impending coaching search!

According to 247, Taylor had offers from Arkansas State, Chattanooga, Georgia State, Liberty, Memphis, Northern Illinois, South Alabama, and Southern Miss.. He also had interest coming from Marshall and UCLA
So basically Taylor was recruited by mostly a couple of solid G5 programs and a couple of very hopeful FCS schools. As expected there are zero offers from any P5 schools. He is a solid, winning G5 level QB. He wins more than he loses at the level he was recruited to play at. I'm sold.
Uh Armanti had an offer to play cornerback at Clemson. Only App offered a chance at a FCS level to COMPETE at QB. So you have to have solid offers from a P5? Kurt warner was bagging groceries.... Offersmean squat. Taylor is an above average QB and a perfect fit for what SS wants. Allow an analogy..Greg Maddox had a 83 mile an hour fastball. He is a Hall of Famer. A big arm isn't everything
