Too bad about Noil. He always struck me as a boom or bust prospect. I kind of had a hunch he'd wind up moving to safety, but regardless, figured he was a good pickup at one spot or another.

Between him leaving and Nixon decommitting, WR is looking like less of a luxury spot and more like one where we probably need to sign 1-2 more.

TE Brandon Walton has been removed from the roster. Never like to lose anyone but it happens and with George Vinson moving to H-Back/FB to help Hunter Nunn replace Bailey, our glut of WR's, and Reed here to help Burns, if needed, we'll be fine. If the plan is to redshirt Reed then the shirt might be a bit looser now but it all depends on how much we were planning on working the TE's into the passing game this year. Burns is still a pass catching target and Reed is also, if needed.

Couple more walk-on adds and deletes but might as well wait until things settle out a bit to see who sticks. Just wanted to post on Walton since he was in our 2014 class.

Agree. I would guess the plan was to shirt Reed but I would say that is changed now. We still have Moll, who played a little last year, but I think coming in early and getting the full benefit of the off season conditioning program is a blessing now and will help work Reed into the offense.

From what I understand, Walton had good hands but really struggled in the blocking aspect of playing TE in D1 football. I wish that wasn't the case. He has great size.

This makes sense with our change in philosophy down the stretch. He probably wants to go somewhere he can catch more than block

Thats bad news. He was really good. I was expecting good things from him. I guess thats why you recruit heavy because its always next man up.
