Sorry Cline, but I have to work. I have been on this board for a long time, as have you. Even discussed some work items from time to time. I am familiar (from previous posts) with you raising the young man and commend you for it. Simply put, It is real easy to say that when not faced with it. I do believe that, if truly an option, you wouldn't punt as you tried to state.NewApp wrote:I'm waiting for your reply to my humble rebuttal.App91 wrote:Easy to say this on a message board when trying to stick your chest out. I have seen some other posts of yours on here and I have to believe that if you WERE offered such a position you would move mountains to be first in line. I call BS!NewApp wrote:If I was merely a greeter at Wal-Mart, I wouldn't quit my day job to be a lackey whether $100K or not.JTApps1 wrote:I'd quit my job today for that gig!Saint3333 wrote:When my contract is up I hope I have an option for a six figure salary for three years to play golf with donors, shake hands, and kiss babies.
Not going to go back to specific posts and really not getting into personal finances. I know 100k is not a lot of money in today's age, but come on, you sure have lead some to think that such a stipend would help tremendously. That is all that I will have to say on that matter, getting a little too personal. That is my fault and should not have gone there. My apologies.
