You had to let the ticket office know by 5:00 Friday if you were picking up the tickets or wanted to pay $25 to have them overnighted via UPS. If you didn't do either of those, you've elected to pick up your tickets at one of the will call options.moonshine wrote:I missed the Boone pick-up option last week. Thanks Daphne, I didn't see the pick-up option until this weekend. Guess I'll grab them down in Montgomery.

Re: Tickets yet?
Does anyone know how we are doing on tickets? If we have still not sold out our allotment; I and am sure other would buy tickets to give out.
Just want the place to be packed and ensure people are taking advantage of tickets on the secondary markets as well.

Wish they had the team logos on them, or at least names, but oh well. I've got a pin board where I keep ticket stubs from memorable games, and this one's definitely got a spot waiting for it.

Re: Tickets yet?
On the spur of the moment I drove to Boone, secured my ticket and am ready to shuffle off to Montgomery. Going with the same person I went with to the 3 national championship games and the Michigan game. Never dreamed 10 years later we would be attending our 1st bowl game. Times have definitely changed for the better!

Are you a Yosef Club member? I am assuming that the Yosef Club members will get all of the good seats as they should!ASUPATCH wrote:Sec B row 6. Should be front row according to seating chart. GO APPS

Re: Tickets yet?
Unfortunatly not, live in Colorado now. Didnt get my tickets until last night. Had to buy them from Camellia Bowl directly as our allotment was out. Got to chose my seats however which was nice. Still have thousands of seats for sale to the game as of yesterday. Far from a sellout.

The AppState side of the stadium has less than 200 tickets left. The only tickets left are all are sideline from the 10 to the end zone.
The rest of the stadium on the press box side and endzone has less than 1,700 tickets available. That's less than 2,000 tickets to the game available with four full days of sales left before game day.
I'd say if you don't come to the game with a ticket, expect to play a scalper.

Re: Tickets yet?
I would call, but I have heard they are sold out. If that's the case, you will have to buy directly from the Bowl.BUTCH1991 wrote:Does the ASU ticket office still have any? I need to add one ticket.

Re: Tickets yet?
I just got a weird email. I ordered my tickets through Appstatesports the first day they were available. Today's email said:
"[...] I am e-mailing you to let you know that the tickets you purchased for the bowl game behind the Ohio bench have been moved to reserved seats behind the App State bench. We had some extra tickets and were able to accommodate all of our fans who purchased on the opposite side of the field. Tickets will be available for pick up at the designated times listed on appstatesports.com starting Thursday at the team hotel as well as Saturday beginning at 2:30 CT at Gate 8 at the stadium."
I have two obvious questions/comments.
1. Why the hell was I placed behind the Ohio bench if I got my tickets through ASU on the first day?
2. Maybe we didn't sell out our allotment.

Re: Tickets yet?
Are you in Yosef club? My understanding is Yosef Club members got the best tickets based on points. They may have initially put you on Ohio's side as a just in case we had more Yosef Club members going.Gonzo wrote:I just got a weird email. We had definitely sold out of our allotment -- which is why we are selling behind Ohio bench. At least, per the ticket office when I called this morning.

Re: Tickets yet?
Does anyone know how seats were assigned? We got in Sec R. Based on our Yosef Club I would have thought we would have gotten better seats. I understood they gave out tickets to locals. Did they get the good seats?

Re: Tickets yet?
Not positive about this, but I believe I've read that it's common for the schools to get relatively poor seats in bowls, and for the best seats to go to locals or be sold directly to the public by the bowls. One of the reasons schools have to work so hard to convince fans to buy from them - you're actually sacrificing seat location.

Re: Tickets yet?
It is not uncommon for bowls to reserve the seats between the 40 yard lines for corporate sponsors, VIPs and other relatively uninterested attendees. The 2012 Belk Bowl clearly had the school's sections in opposite corners. Our Iron Dukes tickets were right above the Cincinnati player entrance on the Duke side of the field in the corner. I could tell during the game that the Cincinnati fans were mostly in the opposite corner in sections from about the 30 around behind the goal posts where their band sat. Duke fans same thing to DUMB behind the opposite end zone.
“When you take that field today, you've got to lay that heart on the line, men. From the souls of your feet, with every ounce of blood you've got in your body, lay it on the line until the final whistle blows.”
