Heat, road game, looking ahead, all the above. UGLY win.

Every champion has a win they won ugly, but not sure I can bare another this season.

I really can' believe what I just saw. We let them drive 98 yards on us with the game on the line. Thank God they had to go 99.
Should have not came to that, offense screwed this scenario up!!
If Taylor doesn't extend the ball, we win by 10 or 14 points. D played pretty solid after the first quarter. Duck's INT should have been their last stand. Plus, you have to give a little bit of credit to their QB. He made good decisions for most of the game and extended plays all game. At least we didn't play prevent at the end. We were blitzing on almost every play.

Game kept glitching on us. Why wasn't that a safety at the end? Defender grabbed ball at the one and pulled it back into the end zone

A win is a win !!! - nothing else really matters - you take the W and move forward - no, we didn't play well - yes, Texas State is better than we all thought - yes, their QB made some huge plays - Give the Bobcats credit - however, APP comes home with a WIN ---
GOOD TEAMS WIN GAMES THEY EASILY COULD HAVE LOST ---

Texas St QB kept giving me flashbacks of Renaldo Gray from Furman back in the day. Big, bulky but could scramble a little bit and make things happen.

Wish the offense looked as good all night as we did on that first drive after halftime!

We need Meadors and Evans and we need Moore to return to his old form...not sure what's up with him so far this year. He's either injured or just isn't comfortable being the high-expectation guy.

Upshaw certainly seems to be running harder and is more explosive at this point. Maybe it's time to flip their roles and bring Moore off the bench.

Possibly, but I also think our o line hasn't gelled with the new pieces yet either. The holes aren't there like last uear

Upshaw is running well and you can't really tell that he missed last season and you'd think he'd be a little rusty...he's seems to be making plays when we need them...as far as I could tell with the ESPN3 constant buffering.

Just heard the post game interview with Satterfield. Moore was indeed "dinged up" and couldn't get back out there according to Satt. I thought as much. Thankfully, Upshaw is a bruiser and just what we needed in this game.

It'll be great when we get Meadors and Evans back for sure but our rookies are doing a hell of a job and getting extremely valuable playing time. They are getting the job done. Hamstring injuries are no joke I blew mine out in college and it was a good three months before I could run comfortably again. Of course, I wasn't getting the care these guys get today, but its still a bad injury.

I think our WR's are ok. I think the majority or our offensive woes fall directly on the OL. Hannon has a great future and is making clean snaps but his blocking is lacking. Also, TEC and Greer at LG aren't playing well.

Also to everyone. Don't forget about our summer scrimmage reports. Our offense tends to struggle against the 3-4 aka us. That said, regarding our defense our DBs need to step up.

I'm not sure that we deserved that one, but a win is a win. 1-0 in the Belt. On to Wake.
In spite of one of TS best efforts and one of our worst, we won. I think we deserved the win.
