Well, that was disappointing. They score a garbage time td against mostly subs. Even with the huge lead, I hate giving up points.

I think the lead announcer was dumbfounded when Leaf argued vehemently that the refs should have whistled Evans down on the long TD run, despite the fact that he clearly never touched the ground.yosef69 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 10:40 pmHaha for real. Great seeing Drink running to find Ellington after the game.

This is the second time recently they have squeaked by a bad team. Are they going to keep getting the benefit of the doubt?

That dude sucks and seems like a (semi) closet hater.
2nd time we were stuck with him this year.

Re: Georgia state game thread
They may but I would flip Memphis and Cincy for sure. In fact, I would drop Cincy 2-3 spots but I doubt that happens in the polls. I really think the G5 ratings right now should go 1. Memphis 2. Boise State 3. App State 4. Cincy 5. SMUBoroneer10 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 11:06 pmThis is the second time recently they have squeaked by a bad team. This might sound picky but we are ranked, our game ended nearly an hour ago and on ESPN there is still no recap.

One day these slow starts are going to bite us in the ass. We cannot let teams get up on us early. Playing from behind might be okay in the Sun Belt, but come bowl season, teams will capitalize on this.

In person, this game felt just like the 2018 New Orleans Bowl. At first, we could do no right. Then, we did very little wrong.

How about the game Jolly played? Young man played lights out and that pick 6 is really when our whole team got going.

Re: Georgia state game thread
I don’t think that’s picking nits. I watched almost all of College Gameday yesterday, and as far as I remember Cincinnati and Boise St were the only top 25 G5 teams they mentioned, and they only mentioned them for a few seconds. I realize that ESPN has to make the best content for the most viewers, but I would like to see a show that is supposed to be about college football be about ALL of college football. Watching stories about the same 8-9 teams every week gets boring.
