Biff will be primed by then. If they find a QB they could be decent.

I do hope the other game for 2025 will be a winnable away game versus another G5 program. Toledo is a good program and will bring a solid team to Boone.

One of the benefits of this game will be that it is played on Thursday night and then the team gets 10 days to prepare.
Yes, prepare for NC State which is great. I was still hoping for a Memphis match up, but the strategy is good.

Are we sure he will still be there by then?

Who benefits more from a game in Charlotte, App or Concord?
Concord. They should be on the rotation once every 4 or 5 years. If we stay "in state" prefer Dook or WF .but they got to want to sign the dotted line. With the job Elko is doing, would think they would want to play us if they have an opening.

It’s been hinted that our fourth out-of-conference game in 2025 will be to a “destination” location. I’m thinking that could be against one of the Florida schools or maybe at somebody out west.

One thing that should also be considered - I know we as fans love the tough games but in the new playoff format, you have to be undefeated and win the conference. Having an “easy” OOC schedule can be a good thing. For 2025, we have the P5 already schedule. We should fill in with likely W’s

What about a private Catholic college in Indiana?

THAT would be a bucket list item.

I believe with this addition, we play them six years in a row.

From a fan's perspective, another name program would wet the appetite even further. But, I could see opting for an FCS home game given the schedule.

I don't want to play them in September though, that's the only month they're good.

This!. Wins matter. We go undefeated in the best G5 league and beat State, it wont matter that we beat UNCC. With our brand, we will be in VERY good shape. Look at the run Liberty is getting and their schedule is a Joke (But undefeated). This is why I am so surprised at all the conference realignment, wins matter, its the most important thing. If you are in a super conference, man you are rowing uphill expected to beat all those teams every year. Lot's more millions on buyouts coming over the next decade, passionate fans hate the lose, and they hate paying lots of money to lose even more.

We good, keep the schedule manageable, just win baby.

If we were to add an FCS home game for 2025, we are looking at the following:

- 3 non conference home games featuring NC State (with 10 days of prep FYI)

- 1 extra “home” game in Charlotte

- Home games against Coastal, Marshall, Ga Southern and probably ULL or South Alabama (just a guess on the West)

- Away games to JMU, Ga State, ODU and either ULL or South Alabama.

3 true road games. That is a strong schedule and sets us up for success to have a special season to contend for the playoff.

I do not want to play easy teams. I will take all P5 for our OOC .Does nothing for me. Want to be the best, play the best...Anytime, anywhere.

I know of one that hasn’t been announced, but will be soon. I’m pretty happy about it.
For you guys that were hinting at knowing a game soon to be announced, was it the Charlotte game or is there another game you know about for 2025???

I believe that the game being hinted at is for later on in the decade.
