We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

“We’re awful right now in the red zone,” said Satterfield, whose Mountaineers failed to score on three trips inside the 15. “It’s a little bit of everything… part of it is not executing, going back to the last game.”
If we get TDs = 21pts which would be 35-34 Apps win...... "IF IF IF IF IF"....

The difference in being 0-2 and 2-0 in our last two games.

Very true. I thought when we scored at half, if we would come out and score 1st, we would have GSU on the ropes and could pull out the win. Well..... another awful red zone drive...YesAppCan wrote: “We’re awful right now in the red zone”

Two weeks in a row, is this going to be corrected? "Fool me once - shame on you. Fool me twice - shame on me"YesAppCan wrote: “We’re awful right now in the red zone”

Watauga, I think all of us are fighting our minds and the ultimate unknown... Kind of like getting too far out in the ocean or in water over our heads... We know how to swim but we still panic when we realize we can't touch bottom. I have been all over the place, in my mind, this morning. At this point, I will hold out hope for the South Alabama game.

Re: Game thread
I think what is hurting us is we don't have a go to WR for the TD. We need a 6'4 or 6'5 that can out jump the 5'11 to 6'0 DB. I really think Simms is our go to guy, but he is only 5'11 and we need a taller WR for post/corner throws. I feel Simms is our best WR at this point. The kid will catch anything thrown to him.YesAppCan wrote:Watauga, I think all of us are fighting our minds and the ultimate unknown... I agree with you. More proof as to the recruiting in the past that our best receiver is a former walk on. No disrespect to him but it is worth noting.AppState89 wrote:I think what is hurting us is we don't have a go to WR for the TD. We need a 6'4 or 6'5 that can out jump the 5'11 to 6'0 DB. Yes. I believe we won the toss and deferred. I wanted the ball. Lamb has never entered a game against an FBS foe with a tied or winning score. He has had to play catch up every time he takes the field.PhillyApp1 wrote:More tight end passes
More motion, moving the pocket

We have to do better to start the game
Maybe there is no answer and I need to stop thinking we are as good as the coaches tell us we are

Re: Game thread
I have to believ come of the conservative play calling is due to having a freshman QB playing behind a shaky O-Line. Not saying i agree with that, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was on the coaches minds.PhillyApp1 wrote:Diehard, where do you see improvement?diehardapp18 wrote:This won't be a problem. Barbour, Meadors, Lewis, Armstrong, Cathey, Hopkins, etc are waiting in the wings. I'm not worried about the future of our receivers, nor am I worried about the kid that's gonna be slinging them the ball. I want to see an improved o-line and secondary, that's where we need to really recruit this year.APPARJ wrote:Our top three WRs are Simms McElfresh, Malachi Jones and Bobo Bethard. I mean... wow.
Does anyone want to argue that we have an above average receiving corps?
I haven't been on this forum a week and wow, do you guys overreact. We knew this was going to be a young team and they're playing like it, but some of you act like there is no hope. Just look at the skill positions on offense and if you don't get excited for the future of this team... well, I don't even know.
Satterfield has been slightly disappointing so far, the team is making too many small errors that have to fall on him to an extent at some point. But this dude can RECRUIT, we are going to be very good soon.
You guys just seem too spoiled, every team goes through a down period at some point. We will be back again soon, I even say we have a very good chance at making a bowl game next year.
What part of the offensive play calling in the first half is acceptable?
Scott owes the defense an apology for stranding them in almost every first half this year.
We need to take the gloves off and open the playbook from the first play in the game. We need to decide we are going to run our offense without reading the defense.
I have been hearing about recruits for 7 years. I know..... but its so hard to watch. I see so little improvement in the last 3 years....its just getting old not seeing hope from the list i posted earlier

If Simms is 5' 11" then I'm King Kong.AppState89 wrote:I think what is hurting us is we don't have a go to WR for the TD. We need a 6'4 or 6'5 that can out jump the 5'11 to 6'0 DB.
