The Yosef club twitter page tweeted out today:

“Renderings of the field level patio coming soon! Secure your seat today!”

So that answers the question about what the area under the stands will looks like. Interested to see what they are planning!

I’d rather they add seats there, but I assume this has a higher ROI.

Was told by the Yosef club...we are to have some kind of cover over the NEZ seats. Will be interesting to see how they engineer that off the roof to cover the 4th floor glass windows and the seats extending from the 3rd & 2nd floors of the complex.

Winter of 1992 they sent us to class with the wind chill of somewhere around -50. I think the NC legislature passed some sort of weather related law about soon after.
I remember that winter well. Plus we had a 2 WEEK Spring Break due to the nor'easter snow storm!!!
When I was there they didn’t cancel classes even if he’ll froze over. You knew you were going to school in Boone when you signed up so there were no excuses.

Unless you cut class to go skiing, of course

That was 93. I drove back to Boone from Key West and the sun was out. Took a nap and woke up to a pouring snow storm.
Lived through that one as well. Ran out of salt on campus and the stairs became a great place to watch wipeouts each day
Twisted I know, but cheap entertainment.
Okay, I’m showing my age, but who cares!

In February of 1960 we had three HUGE snow storms in a row. At that time, what is now Durham Park, was the baseball field and football practice field and the only large flat area in the region. It became the staging area for Army helicopters being used to drop food and water to all the people that were stranded in some parts of the county.

Then, in 1970 when I was spending time in Southeast Asia, my blond and fair-skinned wife left the campus with negative 27 degree temperatures and high winds to join me in Hawaii for my R & R on the beach. She returned to the frigid temps with a serious and painful sunburn.

And they've struck the front of the building as well! At least they're drowning out the work of Furple...

So I see they sold about half the seats according to the rendering. What happens if they don't sell all the seats? Will they make them open to the public?

I'm eager to see what the "field level patio" looks like. I wonder if this is where recruits will be taken during games.

If DG is smart and capitalize on the how well team is performing on the field, he needs to begin campaign for club level and luxury suites on the visitor side of the stadium.

They really should take field level pictures or Panoramas from the East side to get a full view of how big the NEZ is. Someone else posted pictures they took at field level and that building is big.

Hoping Morgan State is a 6:00 PM kick-off to get the lights on.

Found this new addition to the end zone construction page this morning.

“Within the next few months, structural columns will be added under the cantilevered stadium seating to provide additional support. Adding these supports now will enable the potential addition of an awning in the future, as well as a potential future expansion to the east and west sides of the stadium.”

I had thought that there was going to be seating in that area. From the original renderings it looks like there are 2 tiers of seating (scroll down on that page from the link for the rendering on field level facing the North end zone). Guess it has been changed a little bit. I am eagerly awaiting the new Yosef club renderings. Regardless, it looks great so far.

I wonder if this means corner seating to horseshoe in the north end zone completely. If they eventually extend that patio (as planned) and connect it to both the east and west concourses that would be really nice looking.

A buddy of mine who just spoke with the Yosef club folks was told the club will NOT be in the NEZ building.
