Really stinks for Cox. Guess he will eventually get back out there but losing all these games his senior season hurts.

It really does suck for Cox, if he doesn't get in there tonight against the Eagles, then I really think the coaches should consider a medical redshirt year.

I hate to break it to you, but the game isn't tonight. ;)

For what it's worth, a Journal article on APP health. Sounds encouraging but we'll see.

“I think, overall, this is probably the healthiest we’ve been in probably five weeks, so we’re finally getting a lot of these guys back,” App State coach Scott Satterfield said.

Sometimes it is helpful to keep the injury information close to the chest. For example, if the QB is questionable and you want to make sure the opponent has to prepare for the passing game rather than being able to focus on the run. In this case, I'm not sure it makes much difference and might even help if we let them know that Cox is returning. They already have to prepare for the run because Moore is a stud also, but now there is even more incentive. That could open up the passing game. That said, I wasn't really impressed with the GS Defense against Arkansas State and I think we move it pretty well against them regardless.

That assumes Cox would want to spend another year in school.

Both of you all raise valid points. That being said several athletes stay 4.5 years. From Apps perspective if he can't play Thursday, how much longer do you go before making a decision? This has been a situation where it has lingered the past few weeks.
