Anyone have any insight? Heath is a tremendous talent and provides much needed experience and leadership.

Re: Wow
You forgot to mention that the average score of those three games is 56-7.hapapp wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 10:43 pmThe teams we have beaten are a collective 4-11. Re: Wow
So I'm sitting there and look up and see coach Moore. So I speak to him a couple of minutes. He goes down the row with Margret to find their seats. 10/15 minutes later they come back as they are in the wrong section, the correct seat holders show up. We're in 112 east side. Their seats were in 111. So as he walks by he said "well they ran me off...... again"
anyone who heard him and got the joke had a big laugh as he did. He spoke to anyone and everyone who would take the time to say hello. So 1 why was coach sitting on east side and 2 would you say "uh hay coach you're in my seat"

Re: Wow
Yeah, his seats are on my row about 7 or 8 to our right. We’ve had some delightful encounters with him before and after games. Its great that he sits in the stands with the great unwashed!

Re: Wow
If Coach Moore is sitting in my seats, I find different seats.

Re: Wow
I would let him know they were my seats but insist he not get up and I would go sit on the hill. I've got plenty of stories about my encounters with Jerry over the last 18 years, all great.1ASU78 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 11:18 pmSo I'm sitting there and look up and see coach Moore. Heck, I'd go buy he and his wife each a steak, baked potato(unless they wanted a sweet potato) and a salad, with choice of dressing.

Re: Wow
For now Im "buying" this team, until they give me reason not to. Ive been following App State football since 1974 and have not seen a team this talented, nor prepared, nor as good as this one is in these first 4 games.appvette wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 10:56 pmYou forgot to mention that the average score of those three games is 56-7.hapapp wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 10:43 pmThe teams we have beaten are a collective 4-11. Re: Wow
Sort of glad about this. ZT got a little loose with those throws and a first year starter is going to make mistakes. Very glad that those were able to be made in a blowout and he can learn a free lesson. Watched Scott coaching him up on the sideline after the second one.

Re: Wow
On the postgame radio show, Sims said Zac reverted to being Bamm Bamm and Ponce would pull him back. No worries.

Re: Wow
Totally agree...in fact when he threw that first one I actually said to myself, "wow, Zac's human after all," had been thinking of him as like a football machine...those Int's should be great learning opportunities without doing any harm.App91 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 30, 2018 12:10 pmSort of glad about this. Re: Wow
So, we should start a pool for when Derrick has an incomplete pass...he's what 10 for 10 now?

Re: Wow
After watching the replay this morning, I don't fault Zac on the pick to Sutton. Sutton was pushed from behind and the defender intercepted what would have been a completion. Tough NO call on that one. He will definitely learn from these mistakes!!! So Ala had some pretty decent coverage on a lot of our passes.
