Can't help but think of the many years that our awesome program accomplishments were so easily dismissed by those calling us a good little team in FCS, JV, Division II, etc...
Now it's apples to apples and we've stepped over those unnamed in-state schools as well as the likes of Michigan State and Southern California to land high among our new PEERS. I don't know how long the ride will last, but I'm going to enjoy it. For now, BEAT STINK!!

First goal. Beat STINK Thursday. Leading to the 2nd goal, stay in the top 25. Third goal get inside the top 20. When I was at App the Rock was but a pebble called Conrad Stadium. The top 25, then, was only the top 20.
Enrollment at App was barely 8k and had trouble filling the 10k seat stadium unless Kullowhee's Kitties or Lenior Rhyne came up the mtn.
NOW! We host ACC teams and have an SEC team coming in 7 years. The Kitties, Wooferd and Vermin are gnashing their teeth at our success.
Academically we are soaring. Enrollment will hit 20k soon. Endowments are growing. The University's entire brand and profile is exponentially improving. I say to my wife frequently, "Wow, my little alma mater has and is growing up." Ur uh excuse me. Something is in my eye. I need a tissue.
