DT’s plays were all self audibles. Why did Roof go to the box? 469 yards 29 first downs, 31 points and 323 yards passing. More than UNC has had against anyone else except by 14 yards to USC. I’ll admit to crow being in the oven, but it is far from edible. Great Win!

UNC is playing a true freshman QB who is gaining experience with every game. Sometimes you have to just "give the devil his due" and admit that UNC has a very good QB who was making some very good throws. I wasn't seeing busted coverage. I most just saw good passes/catches. I didn't like it either and I hope we can get more pressure on QBs in future games but Howell is getting better week by week.

The defense played great! Still a lot of work to do with the corners and on pass d. Had a few great stops but the last drive in the first half hurt. Great win and the d held up just enough even being gassed in the second half. Keep working and getting better every game!

What is up with us and the cramping issues? It looked like ECU all over again. I realize we practice in temperatures probably 10 degrees cooler on average but is there more to it, something we aren’t doing that we should?

Cramping-- UNCs field cooling system was not working. It was a million degrees on the field today.

Roof- alot has happened over the last frw days. I can't go into detail yet, but let's not go kissing Roof's butt quite yet. Look at the scheme, it was a lot different than what we did last two weeks.... For the better. Akeem was the roaming LB and we played back and patient. Stick with what works. All I can say is the defensive players rallied and showed up huge.

We won, we should've won, we deserved to win.

From the camera angels... looked like Roof was calling plays. Conditioning has me concerned.. but.. it was hot as all get out. We practice in the mountains. So, OK..... I thought it was a solid all around performance today. Like how I see the evolution of this team going.

Yes, Gasp and Roof switched places today, but that is not confirmation that Roof wasn't making the calls. Like I mentioned, there was A LOT of stuff that happened over the last couple of days leading up to this game. Not sure what to make of any of it, so it's not worth commenting on. If I start getting concrete things to elaborate on, I'll be happy to do so in the Lodge.

Forget the crow and Roof crap. Our defense went back to more normalized scheme, we blitzed, disguised blitzes, and showed blitzes and dropped back. All of this confused the $#it out of Sam and he was struggling all day. We finally let Akeem roam free on the slot and in zone and it paid off huge. All of this was mentioned over the last week, so we shouldnt be surprised that we made adjustments. Let's enjoy this W and win out moving forward.
