Think someone said Miami was ranked the week after they payed us
I looked it up on espn.com after posting because I was curious. Per that site Miami was #25 that day.
Just did the same. I’d like to amend my answer. No Top 24 team has ever played in KBS until today.
Simple answer is that App is the highest ranked team to play in KBS

Sorry your right I didn’t realize they rotate every three years between those bowls . Yes this year it’s the cotton bowl.

Well it's not a secret that everyone sees the Sun Belt as the bottom dweller of the FBS and compiled of teams nobody else wanted despite the contrary. Anything we can do to change that stigma among the general public will be welcome to the rest of the league.
