Tired of these arguments that are centered around fans not being real fans because we have high expectations and demand more. We’re spoiled, yes. At some point we have to get over this hump. We’ve been stuck on this hump for a couple of years and it’s tiring. It’s one thing to go out and get raked by an SEC team next week, but it’s another thing to lose to a team that quite literally isn’t better than you, and the team comes out flat.

Auburn fans were leaving their game tonight with the outcome still in doubt. 1/4 to 1/3 left because the temp was falling into the mid 40's. OH, they did squeak by Ole Miss. Should they call out their fans?

Memphis stadium was 1/2 full against SMU in the 4th quarter based on the blimp shots against SMU on a prime time Saturday night game, in a huge city. Guess they should call out their fans too.

What I disliked the most was a few fans behind me booing when we did not convert on 3rd down. You can boo at the Refs for missing a call. You can even boo when 2 GS players fall down faking an injury to slow our momentum late in the game. But please stop booing our own team when things are not clicking on offense.
GIVE 'EM HELL APPS!

Spacemonkey - I don't know your age but hopefully when you hit your 70s you will be able to attend more games than me - Or your 60s or your 50s or when you have small children or when you live several hours away from Boone --- If you fall into these categories, then accept my apology ---

I dont think I believe that OP was there. That was the most miserable weather to sit through that I've seen for a football game in a long time.

I don’t mean to sound disrespectful, but I think you need a reality check for perspective. App is in the middle of literally the best transition from FCS to FBS EVER. We aren’t stuck on a hump, we are modeling sustained excellence. 75% of all college football teams and fans would kill to be as good as App is. I’d even go so far as to argue that most Ga Southern fans would trade one of the last two wins against us to be three time conference champs and 5 time bowl winners.J_Mountaineers wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 10:39 pmTired of these arguments that are centered around fans not being real fans because we have high expectations and demand more.
