Re: Rivalry Week
I'd like to see APP/GS moved back to Saturday as a prime-time 7:30 kickoff. That would allow as many fans as possible to attend, whether in Stinksboro or Boone. It would also make for a phenomenal gameday atmosphere.

Re: Rivalry Week
I do appreciate the fact that the conference "values" the App/GS game and considers it a conference showcase, but continuing to put it on Thursday is damaging the game itself and it is putting the conference's "showcase" program (App) at a competitive disadvantage. I don't care what time the kick-off is, but I do think this game should be played on Saturday....at least most of the time!

I get the TV implications and am glad the league wants to feature the game. It does make it tough when it's on Thursday EVERY year. Wish they'd rotate games out. Unfortunately the SBC probably doesn't have enough strong/marketable programs to spread the TV games around.

GS should be on a Saturday and I will never attend anything but a high school game on a Friday.

Re: Rivalry Week
My hope is that, with App's success and the fact we our SATURDAY games pulled to ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU, the league will finally let us play it on Saturday and use that Thursday slot for another good matchup for the league. If App is getting on the main stations already, they're wasting that opportunity by putting it on Thursday.
