This is the only time I ever want to hear a “We are...App State” cheer. Ever.
You driving over?

I’m highly tempted, but probably not.

FYI on restaurant considerations for anyone attending. From colleague of mine whose family still lives near Huntington.
"Oh nice! my family is actually pretty close to huntingon, so i definitely know some good restaurants. fat patty's is the best sports bar. they have some really good burgers. christophers eats is also really good. they have a little bit of everything. black sheep burritos is another good one."

If I did, it would be a up and back trip for me, as well. It’s about an hour longer from RVA to Huntington than it is for me to get to Boone, and that’s at the edge of a trip like that to be sensible (though that also includes little over three hours of tailgating that I wouldn’t be doing).

Just saw on twitter where Marshall is sold out of East Prime($45) and Sideline($40) tickets for the game. All that's left is the Upper Endzone Reserved($30).

Someone in our ticket office is dropping the ball on this one...still no update on our allotment and if those of us who purchased through our ticket office have secured tickets or not. No guarantees were made as they weren't sure how many tickets we would be receiving. And, they won't let us cancel our order at this point and now the tickets that were available through the Marshall ticket office are about gone.

Are you guys sure that they are going to let in fans into Marshall's stadium?

Bought my two tickets yesterday through Marshall. Staying at the doubletree downtown as well. Pretty cheap considering location, love that it's walking distance from the stadium. Plan on driving up Friday after work and heading back after the game. Fingers crossed it's an enjoyable game.

I would keep an eye on what happens in the Huntington area this week. I know that are using a coding system for counties. Some high school games were played and some were cancelled because of covid numbers. I am not sure who makes the decision at Marshall but WVU had no fans today.

Their site says tickets sold in groups of no more than 6. Row behind and in front empty. 2 seats to left and right of group empty. Masks at all times.

I went to the Bristol race and that is how they did it. BMS did a phenomenal job with fans. It should be a model.

Just spoke with my buddy who lives near Huntington and he says Cabell County is not considered a danger county currently so there should be no problem with fans attending -

Selling my extra Marshall game tickets. I also posted in ticket exchange. 64 for both. That is 30 face plus the 4 dollars in fees.
