Wow, that is a thin list of key players. So we have our third and presumably fourth best running back playing, only one of our receivers, none of our tight ends. Time for the "next man up" mantra to really prove its worth. Not sure I would play this game if I were in charge. Lots of other teams are cancelling due to Covid, think I would too. Call my officially worried. Although, perhaps these young kids with something to prove won't make the same mental mistakes that have plagued our team this year. I'm sure they are still better players than the Camels even if they are unproven. This is their chance and they will make the most of it. Ok, I already convinced myself we will be ok, ignore that worried comment. We will be fine. I'm anxious to see our young guys make plays. Go Apps!

I really don’t understand what we have to gain by playing this game.

Appalachian State released a depth chart an hour ahead of its football game against Charlotte.

There is no reason for previously injured players like Marcus and Pearson nor any others to play in this game - the season starts a week from Wed - We have recruited FBS talent - they will be fine playing against Campbell - and why do you play this game? - To get as many guys true-game experience as possible as we all know this is not the last time we will have Covid problems -

All you guys saying we should've cancelled this game...maybe you're right but if so, we should just cancel the whole season. This is probably going to happen again. I don't know what everyone was expecting. I'm not of the opinion that we should just cower in our homes for the next couple of years or however long it takes to put this crap behind us. I'm looking at this season as a glorified spring practice. W-L records this year will be suspect no matter what. Teams will be cancelling games or playing with a depleted roster all season. To worry about records or losing your minds because of a loss to a good Marshall team is a joke.

App kicking off to start the game.

Great coverage, they start at their own 12.

Now 3rd and 11 and incomplete. They'll punt

Always good to see an FCS team moving the ball like they're an FBS team against us.

They look like Wisconsin against us right now. What in the world is happening.

An FCS team just drove down the field on us for 8 minutes.

14 plays, 83 yards.

Time for the big play to get some momentum back.

Be very afraid. We aren't very good(2 games) and now we're hobbled in a not insignificant way. Come on get lucky Apps.
