Took alot of guts for GS to go for 2 and the lead after their last score and the play Werts made in converting the 2 pointer reminded me a little of some of the wizardry we saw from a certain #14 in Black and Gold for a long time. Too bad "prevent D" gave UL the opportunity to drive within long FG range and the kid converted. It's to App's advantage to host an undefeated UL but it appears that except for possibly ULM about any team in the Belt is dangerous and with Covid sit outs almost anything can happen on a given weekend (or Wednesday night).
Beat UL! Go 9-0.

Go for the tie at home and the win away or when playing under Covid-19 conditions is the rule of thumb.SpeedkingATL wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 2:09 pmTook alot of guts for GS to go for 2 and the lead after their last score and the play Werts made in converting the 2 pointer reminded me a little of some of the wizardry we saw from a certain #14 in Black and Gold for a long time. Figures. I talked with Marshall’s RB Evans after our game in Huntington and he mentioned The Herd were in talks with UNC about a game.
