This game concerns me greatly. We have had a long layoff without much practice at all. Will we be rusty or sharp? Will we finally show up with some intensity or not? I do know this, if it gets into a shootout, I don't like our chances. I haven't seen anything from our offense to make me believe that we can put up over 40 on a FBS team. Of course, I haven't seen anything from our defense that would suggest a FBS team can put up over 40 on us. So I do not think it will be a shoot out, of course I could be wrong. I am going with the old adage that Defense wins Championships and putting my faith in the Champions of Appalachian State.

A 2 week layoff will rear its ugly head the 1st half unfortunately. Hopefully the adjustments will be made and we can get in gear. I am concerned with their passing game , a good pass rush is a must. I still think we have enough experience to overcome our lack of playing time.
