Since we're playing on the first day of bowl season maybe we could maintain a "ready" status in case other schools test positive and can't make a bowl for next week and need a good team to sub in. This is 2020 so....

I guess they are content to just cancel the bowls if they can’t find the teams they want. Guaranteed Rate Bowl announced it will cancel as of today.

Looks like programming means 3-8 and 2-8 records in the SEC gets you into bowl.
Congrats to Drink on the 5-5 in first year at Mizzou as he achieved that with zero nonconference games. Say what you want about his short tenure up on the mountain. He can coach.

The Miltary Bowl hasn't cancelled for next Monday. Army had its bowl game cancelled. Would we want to play them in Annapolis next week.

I am assume you're not serious. Given what players have had to endure this season, I doubt they want to extend the season especially if it means they forego being home for Christmas. This was not a crazy idea. Just saw an article the the SunBelt Was on conversation to have teams play in 2 bowls. They decided against it. I suppose there wasn't enough interest at the schools in question to pursue.
