Yes! New season, new expectations!
Thanks to Great App State for the annual countdown, and to Big C for the prediction threads!
This could be an interesting game. The big unknown for us is how will Chase Brice fit in and do we have him ready to go. The rest of the parts and pieces are there on both sides of the ball for us to be really good. Feeling cautiously optimistic...
Last year in our 3 losses we had way too many turnovers and penalties. We also played pretty predictable. I'm hoping the reason was lack of practice time, Covid, and an offensive coordinator that did not fully utilize our capabilities. With Ponce back I am hoping the understanding of this offense, how to exploit match ups, and game planning will improve. Limit the penalties and turnovers and we should be good.
