This Louisiana could lose tonight and possibly again vs Troy. Who knows maybe even Monroe. They are in championship not much to play for until their next superbowl

Coastal is better than Louisiana, imo
Tonight’s Louisiana team is what they’ve been all season in the games I’ve watched except the APP game.

If they lose two they won't host anymore, I doubt they want to come to Boone in December.

Me too. I forgot to use the "tongue in cheek" emoji. I've heard it so much referring to us. I'm sick of it.

I think they hired the New Orleans Saints to play against us.

I strongly disagree that the turnovers were the cause of the loss against them. They certainly didn't help, but we lost because they were better that night....by far. Lewis played the game of his life, and our DB's had the worst games of their lives, and our lines played the worst games of their lives. Turnovers only exacerbated all that.
Regardless, they look terrible in this game.

Looks like the Ragin Napier have finally woke up. Louisiana has to lose 2 conf games to lose home field for championship won't they? With tie breaker? Assuming we win out.

Completely agree with you. They were clicking on all cylinders that night and we weren’t. Punched us in the mouth early and we never fully covered. We had our chances but things didn’t go our way. I still hold that missing the wide open pass out of the half that would have made it a 3 pt game (I think) was the turning point. They look terrible this game but I don’t think they are a bad team. If we face them again the SBC game, it’s not going to be easy regardless of where we play them.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 8:29 pmI strongly disagree that the turnovers were the cause of the loss against them. 16 plays right up the chute. One of the most impressive drives I’ve seen this year. Go Panthers!

I’m amazed ULL can look so good against us and so bad against most everyone else.
Talked to my aunt in Lafayette a few minutes ago and I mentioned the game and she talked about all the ones she knew that wanted to go didn’t have enough clothes to stay warm in the cold 50 degrees.

Re: GA State - Louisiana
If we win the East and go back to UL for the SBC Championship Game it's clear that we can beat them if we play our normal game. They are not better than us, and I know some on the board disagree, but I think if we don't turn the ball over (and we have our key players healthy), we win by a couple of scores,

Weren’t we down to basically one running back in that game? Makes a huge difference to have Cam, DH, Castle (still not understanding why he wasn’t used) along with Nate. Smith has been a curious deal. Seems like the staff speaks highly of him but in a few key games when we were out Cam and Daetrich he barely saw the field.

Re: GA State - Louisiana
Although I do believe that we are better than LaLa, the results on the field are what matter. They have beat us two years in a row and the PY they tried to give us the game with all of the punting woes. The combination of players, coaching, how you play (turnovers, your scheme, etc.) play into winning or losing for that particular game. Not saying coaches or players are better than us...they were just better than us in the last two games. Hopefully, we win out and get the chance to beat them in LaLa.
