Chase's grandparents (father's side) sat beside us at the Elon game. Grandma echoed your statement. She's a hoot. Grandpa played at UGA.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 2:24 pmTake it fwiw, but he really likes App. His family is happy where he is.goapps93 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 2:17 pmYeah, there are always loopholes. He likes it in Boone, so he may come back.goapps93 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 12:39 pmCorrect me if I'm wrong, I may be, but I don't think the portal allows for multiple transfers with no sitting out. I doubt he would want to sit out a year.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 10:31 amIf 7 is gone, you may can flip the channels on any given Saturday and see him, considering the way things go with the portal.

I had a chance to talk to his Dad for a good bit of time at Arkansas St. Mr. Cronin was with him but I didn’t really speak with him. Really nice guy and “Country as the day is long.” We share a common connection within the Clemson football office. Long story short, they love App, not a fan of Cutcliffe.goapps93 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 3:18 pmChase's grandparents (father's side) sat beside us at the Elon game. Grandma echoed your statement. Probably true, but it might affect viewership of their butt whooping.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 1:30 pmI don’t think that a Thursday versus Saturday is going to affect the crowd for this one.NewApp wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 1:29 pmI doubt backing out also, but doubt they will come to Boone unless it's a week night. Also, I believe the word is that he's participating in the "Senior Day" recognition this Saturday which is another indicator that he's gone after this season.Rick83 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 1:46 pmI think it will depend on seriousness of the injury but if he's deemed OK, the injury will probably prompt him even more to going ahead with the draft, again assuming it's not a serious injury.
He's going to be an early round pick and would probably be looking at a ton of money...too much to risk with an injury on a team that can't protect him adequately.

No, Brice is not getting drafted.Tbatchelor1977 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 9:59 amHeels: right now, it is 6 based upon the season when 7 came out for play it two. 10 is a true freshman. Once gets another spring practice, he may be starter by the fall. However one may transfer if evident they may not be starter
App St- personally hope it is 7 for another year, however I am not very optimistic even though I do not believe he will get drafted

Re: UNC QB preview?
But for non-conference games, we would have to agree to moving it, wouldn't we? We have no individual contract with ESPN, so didn't we agree to move it in order to get the coverage? No doubt ESPB can always incent teams to move games, but I'm not aware they can dictate for NC games. As usual, I could be wrong. I seem to run a step (or two) behind these days. HahaAppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 1:35 pmI’m pretty sure ESPN moved Marshall. I wasn’t going to say anything about the spelling, but I am right there with you.Yosef84 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 1:33 pmUNC doesn't get to "move it" to a week night. The only reason that would happen is if ESPN made us an offer to move it. Non-Conference games don't get moved often. This year's ECU game was moved because BofA Stadium had a chance to host the Georgia/Clemson game on Saturday so they got us to our game. Conference games get moved to week nights because of the SBC media agreements. Non-Conference jp,e games are managed by App.
Also...for the record...our QB is Chase BRICE (not with a "Y"). Just a pet peeve of mine.![]()

Re: UNC QB preview?
That’s a great question and I can only speculate. I tend to lean towards that it came to fruition due to the SBC contract. My reasoning being is that we had already committed to two “home” games to weeknights. (ECU & Coastal) I don’t feel that it was a willing decision.Yosef84 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 11:47 amBut for non-conference games, we would have to agree to moving it, wouldn't we? Here are some questions for you guys - even the non-bettors
Several months ago NavyApp made the prediction/statement that UNC would not come to Boone next season after the "alliance" was announced - I have my concerns as well
1. Where do you put the odds that UNC will actually come to Boone in 2022?
2. Where do you put the odds that Mack Brown will still be coaching them in 2022?

1. Where do you put the odds that UNC will actually come to Boone in 2022? 80% at KBS or 100% KBS or neutral field like Charlotte
2. Where do you put the odds that Mack Brown will still be coaching them in 2022? 100%

Re: UNC QB preview?
You know as well as I do that Mack can work the preseason rankings like no other. I wouldn’t at all be shocked if the holes end up 22-25 next fall.
However, I detect some sarcasm in Mikes post.

Re: UNC QB preview?
I think it is 100% that UNC comes to Boone next year and 100% Mack is coaching them. As to UNC being ranked, I'd go 65/35 on that. If they win out and win big in bowl game without Howell and have a good recruiting class then I think they are preseason ranked.

Ah. Makes sense on the sarcasm. I honestly haven’t paid attention to UNC this year. Basketball season just started. 99% chance UNC comes to Boone next fall. It would have been 100% but it is hurricane season.
