Correct me if I'm wrong, I may be, but I don't think the portal allows for multiple transfers with no sitting out. I think I remember reading that it's one transfer without sitting out. If that's the case I think #7 is done transferring. If he doesn't play at App next year he won't be playing college football. I doubt he would want to sit out a year.

If he completed his Masters in one study, and wanted to pursue another, AND App didn’t offer it, then he might be able to do it. Honestly, I don’t think that’s the option. He likes it in Boone, so he may come back.

I had a chance to talk to his Dad for a good bit of time at Arkansas St. Mr. Cronin was with him but I didn’t really speak with him. Really nice guy and “Country as the day is long.” We share a common connection within the Clemson football office. Long story short, they love App, not a fan of Cutcliffe.

I seriously doubt they will come to Boone on Sept 3rd.. They may have the game to be moved to BOA or a week night. Of course with Bryce gone, they may think they can accidently win. Mack may want to redeem himself.

I doubt backing out also, but doubt they will come to Boone unless it's a week night. They may be crooked but not crazy.

I don’t think that a Thursday versus Saturday is going to affect the crowd for this one.

Will Howell stay now because of bad year and now the injury though?

I think it will depend on seriousness of the injury but if he's deemed OK, the injury will probably prompt him even more to going ahead with the draft, again assuming it's not a serious injury.
He's going to be an early round pick and would probably be looking at a ton of money...too much to risk with an injury on a team that can't protect him adequately.

Also, I believe the word is that he's participating in the "Senior Day" recognition this Saturday which is another indicator that he's gone after this season.

Heels: right now, it is 6 based upon the season when 7 came out for play it two. 10 is a true freshman. Once gets another spring practice, he may be starter by the fall. However one may transfer if evident they may not be starter

UNC doesn't get to "move it" to a week night. The only reason that would happen is if ESPN made us an offer to move it. Non-Conference games don't get moved often. This year's ECU game was moved because BofA Stadium had a chance to host the Georgia/Clemson game on Saturday so they got us to our game. Conference games get moved to week nights because of the SBC media agreements. Non-Conference jp,e games are managed by App.

Also...for the record...our QB is Chase BRICE (not with a "Y"). Just a pet peeve of mine.

But for non-conference games, we would have to agree to moving it, wouldn't we? We have no individual contract with ESPN, so didn't we agree to move it in order to get the coverage? No doubt ESPB can always incent teams to move games, but I'm not aware they can dictate for NC games. As usual, I could be wrong. I seem to run a step (or two) behind these days. Haha

That’s a great question and I can only speculate. I tend to lean towards that it came to fruition due to the SBC contract. My reasoning being is that we had already committed to two “home” games to weeknights. (ECU & Coastal) I don’t feel that it was a willing decision.

I think it is 100% that UNC comes to Boone next year and 100% Mack is coaching them. As to UNC being ranked, I'd go 65/35 on that. If they win out and win big in bowl game without Howell and have a good recruiting class then I think they are preseason ranked.
