I hate seeing KaRon's, or any young man's, playing career end like this but that video was excellent. I appreciate all that he has done for the App State program and that he will continue to contribute as a student assistant. His absence will be felt, but hopefully he can help a young guy step up and fill the gap.

I hope Red joins us. He may not add much on the field, but it would be horrible for him to lose out on the team (and a scholarship I am assuming) at this juncture.

Maybe we can get Roy Cooper to pen a letter to the NCAA.

Rules have never applied in Chapel Hill. They've beaten the NCAA before, or at a minimum through women's sport under the bus to save men's bball.

NCAA is retroactively applying a rule to him that they created after he had already transferred and enrolled at UNC. I believe there is a guy at Florida State who's in a similar boat.

He should be allowed to play. We would want the same thing if it was us.

Agree the young man should be allowed to play. Pretty petty for grown men to say crap about this situation. Don't change the rules after the fact and punish a player.

I have zero love for UNC but, based on the description of this case, the kid should be allowed to play. This is a totally different situation from UNC's abuse of the system previously.
