ECU / Marshall was a weird game. Has anyone watched it? Marshall up 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. ECU up 13-10 at the start of the fourth. Final 31-13 Marshall.

Marshall’s star RB had a Weird game too. 18-85 with 3 tds. Sounds great. Weird breakdown though:

16 carries, 15 yards, 1 touchdown.

2 carries, 70 yards, 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.
I wonder if this due to EasyU stacking the front 7 or 8. I am not sure anyone is respecting Marsha's passing game after week 1. Maybe, it was eventually they found a couple of holes in the line

ECU has a good defense. Will be interesting to see how much success we have on the ground next week.

They said UNC had a good defense. Either that wasn’t the case or we are just that good offensively

In Joey Dimes we trust! They’ll be very hungry next week to avoid 0-3. I hope we don’t revert to vanilla playcalling because the potential of this offense is sky high.

I say we will be hungrier.

Interesting that currently ESPN shows EZU as a 55.5% favorite on FPI. See if that changes after yesterdays games are put in.

After sleeping on it and watching the replay of the final drives, this one still hurts. However, we played a much better game than the entire world thought we would. (And even half of this forum). The hunger was there and that’s what we needed to see this week. UNC can go ahead and not schedule us ever again, fine, if that’s the kind of program they want to be known as then go ahead.

We’re App, we do more with less and that’s always been who we are. Looking forward to being back in Boone this Saturday with a good group of friends for the Pirates Community College game. Mountaineers by 100!!!
I hate baby blue but at least they played us three times and, once in Boone, and no one else will schedule us.

I am not saying this to be rude towards ECU or overlook them, but I honestly think GW is better than them. They will beat ECU later this month. I want us to come out ready to ball and I think we will. App rolls 38-17

We are determined to crown GWebb aren’t we.

They are a second tier FCS team this year. Should make the playoffs maybe advance one or two rounds.

ECU should beat them by double digits.

APP - 9.5 to ECU

UNC - 6 to Minnesota

UNC will cover the 6

Just speaking the truth about how little I think of ECU this season. Not crowing anyone. Go ahead though and continue to take stuff out of context. Not shocked that it is always the same culprits who do this.

Yeah. GW played good, but we were awful. I think it hurts the narrative of some people who want to see nothing wrong with Clark. I'm not knocking those who are overly positive, but let's not crown GW as some powerhouse to justify our lackluster play against them. It's all good. Long season ahead, let's see how things materialize.

Truth or opinion?

ECU has played a top five team and as solid of a defense as we’ll face this year in Marshall.

I’d love to beat them by three TDs but I wouldn’t bet on it.

You want to set the record straight so no one has to read into your comments. What’s your score prediction if ECU is worse than GWebb?
I have already posted one above. Thanks

That honestly does feel like free money. Ecu can not move the ball, they might be the worst offense in fbs
