If every game we play if decided by 3 seems like easy money.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 1:55 pm-6 now...LoL Smart money knows we stinkT-Dog wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 1:23 pmODU has been sacked 32 times this season, which per game is the worst in FBS. And they don't throw as many passes as some of the other FBS teams up there. And with only a 51% completion rate.
Only non-competitive game was at VaTech in Week One.
Came back from 10-0 down early at Southern Miss, who is 1-5. But blew an early 21-3 lead at Marshall pretty quickly and 17-0/24-7 leads versus Wake. And then you got the 10-9 win over Texas A&M-Commerce.
Their offensive production seems to hinge on whether they can run the ball.
EDIT: Apps open as an 8-point favorite.
We know how to fix other team's deficiencies.

Re: Moving On To ODU
At 3-3, they have the same record as App. They have two conference wins, including a win over Louisiana. They lost by three to Wake and let the Marshall game slip by them late. They are hardly the weakest team in the Belt. All their games have been close save their opener. I would expect another one in Norfolk.

They also seem to be a team that plays up or down relative to their competition.

Re: Moving On To ODU
ODU has a running back that can take it to the house. 11 carries for 236 yards against Marshall. Play action passing game looks opportunistic, but the QB does have quite a few turnovers. I think they want to play a sloppy game and keep it close, grind it out. We better go in there ready or they will make us look bad.hapapp wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 6:17 amAt 3-3, they have the same record as App. They have two conference wins, including a win over Louisiana. That last line seems to be the theme this season.Longrifle28 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 9:41 amODU has a running back that can take it to the house. 11 carries for 236 yards against Marshall. I need a translator to understand some of what he said. No mention of Burger or his progress. Clark did say that they expect Aguilar to have a great game this Saturday (I assume that means Burger is still a no-go). People are right that these media guys are lame when it comes to questions. Maybe they should get an account on here and let us submit some questions to them.

Looks like he couldn't get out of there fast enough, you could tell he didn't want to be there.

Anyone know of a way to watch on TV without having to buy another subscription?

Re: Moving On To ODU
If you have been around long enough and seen a whole bunch of sports, particularly football you have seen and heard all the coach speak there is. No offense to coach but you could write down about 80% of what he's going to say before he steps up to the podium. He's not going to say much at all about injuries. If a player had a leg amputated but was at practice- he practiced. The Burger situation is interesting. We heard a few weeks ago that he was throwing. Guess you can lose your job to injury. They should just let Ware ask and answer questions.

We finally got a thread that moves on to the next opponent. Why try to kill it with political talk?

Re: Moving On To ODU
Haven’t figured out a way. I was going to add the other sling package that has it but at this point I just won’t watch.
