For those who said “we don’t deserve it”. Hell yes, the players who have fought for this program deserve it! Let’s go!!

Re: Birmingham Bowl
If the team wants it then so be it but they better not lose. Last thing we need is another loss this year.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
You call getting a bowl game this way deserving it? We lost to Arkansas State in the most stupid fashion. Accepting a bowl game that 10 others declined after going 5-7 is not deserving of a bowl game. lolASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 9:27 pmFor those who said “we don’t deserve it”. Re: Birmingham Bowl
So don't watch.
Either we win and finish with a losing record or lose and finish with a losing record.
It's the cherry on top of an absurd season. The premise is so ridiculous on how we ended up here that I actually love the idea.

Ok. We have another chance to end the season on a positive note and to get some revenge on our biggest rival. How sweet it would be to lift that bowl trophy up and do it at the stink’s expense. Lets get it done APP!

Hell yes! You will never hear me complain about getting to see App State play another football game. Time to avenge the loss earlier this season. The way Lewis has been running the past few weeks, he may put up 300 on them alone. Lets go App State!

Re: Birmingham Bowl
I don’t know if any of you are aware but the Birmingham bowl has long been referred to as “the thinking man’s college football playoff”.
This is basically the same as what JMU is doing.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
We had a chance last month and were too incompetent to line up correctly so the TD got called back. If they are going to play in this game then we better clean up the mistakes made against Arkansas State. A big reason to play is to get better so they better play a lot better this time. I was really hoping to just have this nightmare of a season behind me and focus on the potential of an improved 2026 season.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
My gut tells me Rondo/Manuel, McCantos and LittleJohn will play.
If they care anything about rivalries and TIGMA.
