Oh breath people. New head coach, new offensive scheme and defensive one as well. One game, a great way to measure where to work on things, in a transitional season. The Griz always a fight, and at least we have a snapshot of where we are and where we need to go. Up until the first snap of the ballgame last night... frankly.. who knew?

FBS won't be a party in the early years. Buckle up. But, if solid fans hang with it, support our team regardless of wins and losses, then, in time, we'll be fine. The "Carolina'esq" moaning is a bit much with some of the other posts here on MMB. How, as a fan, you (we) deal with down time(s) vs. the good times speaks volumes for the character of ones soul. Just saying....

How many times did Montana get in the red zone and come away with nothing because our defense bent but didn't break? The difference between half full and half empty is how you look at the glass.

Agreed. People need to remember that Woody plays a 'keep them in front of you" type of zone scheme. How many times did we drive to the red zone against his Wofford teams to only come away with a FG or nothing at all the past few years? It's they way defenses have to play these days with the wide open offenses we have.

Welcome back. Rep point for your post.
An aside. Some are obviously discounting the fact that Montana was said to have 10 of 11 starters back on defense.
