App's history of success has not been so great at Travelers Rest, but this Furman team, like App, has not shown much ability to score. I simply think App has more playmakers on their offense that have the ability to make a big play. In the absence of much offense, field position will be a key factor and App has one hell of a punter again this year, in Bentlee Critcher. App finally breaks thru with a big victory with neither team getting over 250 total yards of offense.

Every game continues to be a big game for ASU - just for different reasons than we are accustomed. This year, every game creates a new opportunity to gain some momentum. Furman has really struggled as well this year and likely is our 2nd best chance at another victory on our remaining slate. A win for ASU in Travelers Rest would create some momentum into our next 3 games which are also winnable. This game should be tight and the Apps have struggled to make the big play in tight games. In Saturday's contest, Marcus Cox may be the difference between 2 struggling teams. I'm predicting so:

Interesting to see others predictions for this game. Personally, I just don't see how anyone can pick us over virtually anyone at this point. I hope to be proven wrong, and I won't make a score prediction, but I think Furple may have our number for this last matchup
