Still looking to add 7 or so more, from what I gather. Maybe more depending on possible decommits.

Keep in mind that many of these commits and offers have already met at games this year. We've had a lot at games this year that haven't committed yet but are talking to commits and current players on twitter every day. There will still be commits at each of the next two weekends and the commits from this weekend will be talking App up to the ones going next. If the number of around 30 is correct then we've still got around half to still take visits even after this weekend.

Sleep???? I've heard of that. In fact I think, as a kid, I used to do it. But between allergies, bum knees, Fire Dept, and working for the Railroad I believe I forgot how to do it. I'm pretty much like a robot. I go along until my batteries get low, power down for a little while, and then go back to it. :lol:

Hey, Moose...I completely ruined my health that exact way over a 38 year career. It's hard on the heart. Trust me when I say that. I have a 15" scar down the center of my chest as proof. So have I learned anything from that experience? Probably not enough. :cry:

I've told Moose on several occasions that he missed his calling - he should have been a spy or super sleuth - Hey he already has the 00 in his name - we just need to give him another number :mrgreen:

Might as well get the list for next weekend started. So far we've got one offer and two soon to be offers coming in. I'm sure there will be several more, including a couple of commits that didn't come this weekend. I'll be adding all week.

Jan 24th:
App Offers;
DB Zeke Walker (6′ 3″ 200) of Brookland-Cayce High School in Cayce, SC

App Interest, Offers to Be;
WR Darrell Haralson (6′ 4″ 210) of Smyrna High School in Smyrna, TN
ATH Walden Davis (5′ 11″ 185) of Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, GA

Add App offer DB/WR D. J. Sanders (6′ 1″ 190) of Washington County High School in Sandersville, GA (MTSU commit) to the visit list for this weekend. I'll be updating all week.

I'm going to remove App offer DB Zeke Walker (6′ 3″ 200) of Brookland-Cayce High School in Cayce, SC from the visit list for this weekend even though it's not been announced. He may still come but he held an offer from Indiana and he committed to them this past weekend while on his official. We're close enough that he may still come but it would take one heck of a sell job to pull him away from a BCS school he just committed to. I'll add him back if he decides to still come.

Surprised at the lack of visitors for this weekend, with 7 to 9 spots left depending on current commitments I thought we have 10-12 visitors.

There will be more. The coaches are on the road and many of those coming may not even hold offers yet. It's not an exact science looking for references to visiting App on the net but it's worked pretty well so far. We'll start seeing more tonight and tomorrow and will be able to ask more questions when some of the staff makes it back.

A few changes to the list, not an uncommon thing this time of year. I'm removing ATH Walden Davis (5′ 11″ 185) of Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, GA from this weekend and moving him to next weekend. It looks like the coaches are in his area today. Would not be surprised if he received a visit, among others.

Gwinnett Buzz ‏@GwinnettBuzz
Looks like some App State coaches/recruiters in Starbucks today. Just down the street from Ptree Ridge HS. Hmmm…2+2… #Gwinnett

Adding App offer WR Isaiah Lewis (5′ 11″ 170) of Hillcrest Senior High School in Simpsonville, SC (Ga Sou commit) to the list. And we have a new interest who is apparently taking an official here. ATH/RB Nikia Cathey (5' 8" 175) of Westwood High School in Memphis, TN. Video link below and I'll be adding him to the Main Page. He holds offers from WKU, MTSU, Mississippi St, Indiana, NIU, USA, UAB, and Austin Peay.

http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3447213/nikia-cathey#

That would make the new list, so far:

App Offers:
WR Isaiah Lewis (5′ 11″ 170) of Hillcrest Senior High School in Simpsonville, SC
DB/WR D. J. Sanders (6′ 1″ 190) of Washington County High School in Sandersville, GA

App Interest:
WR Darrell Haralson (6′ 4″ 210) of Smyrna High School in Smyrna, TN
ATH/RB Nikia Cathey (5' 8" 175) of Westwood High School in Memphis, TN

I'm sure we'll be adding more in the next two days for this weekend and next.

I am showing my stupidity here. But when It comes to "official visits", is cost of transportation, meals, housing provided? If they are I am sure there are limitations, but just wondering how this works. Thanks.

This weekend is going to be a smaller weekend for visits with next having more. A couple have switched from this to next and WR Darrell Haralson (6′ 4″ 210) of Smyrna High School in Smyrna, TN has been removed. Today starts the weekend for these three. We have some more coming in next weekend but I know the staff is going to be working hard on these three plus working hard to keep Kiante Walton committed. Hopefully Meadors committing will help with that but he does have some big time offers. Fingers crossed and Good Luck to the staff with the next 12+ days.

App Offers:
WR Isaiah Lewis (5′ 11″ 170) of Hillcrest Senior High School in Simpsonville, SC
DB/WR D. J. Sanders (6′ 1″ 190) of Washington County High School in Sandersville, GA

App Interest:

Haralson is taking an academic scholarship at Tennessee State and walking on to play football there.
