Don't really se an FBS school that plays in front of 50,000 plus fans at home coming to a 25,000 seat stadium. So that leaves pretty much Wake, Duke or Marshall in our general area. Still think it is Wake.

I know a H and H with FIU wouldn't exactly increase the turnstiles at KBS but I like the idea of having the Panthers and FAU (if we can't get Miami, UCF or USF) on the schedule to possibly help with recruiting FL. Not to mention it gives App the chance at winnable games against CUSA teams.EastHallApp wrote:Based on the way DJ sort of undersold the tease, I'll throw out some less exciting possibilities just to temper expectations:

These things are crapshoots. Unless someone wants to take the time to guess and compare schedules of all teams we have history with then have at it. I have guesses, but unless we know which years, it's almost not worth the time it takes to research.
Why IGreer continues to call me out over withholding information is confusing. Hey bud, I ain't got nothing. Show your face next time.
If I choose to keep info I get off the MMB, there is nothing wrong with it. Guess you would rather sling mud.

Agree on both points. Would make for a nice road trip too. Just can't help but hope for something a little more exciting when they put out a teaser like that.moonshine wrote:I know a H and H with FIU wouldn't exactly increase the turnstiles at KBS but I like the idea of having the Panthers and FAU (if we can't get Miami, UCF or USF) on the schedule to possibly help with recruiting FL. I know that Ga Tech has been talked about for a while around here that something was trying to be set up but nothing more than rumor plus it's died down recently. I haven't been out much to be able to talk to anyone and with the way DJ mentioned history it was open ended so it could mean any type of history. Pretty much anything is possible. We'll know soon enough.

wow! to quote Lloyd from DUMB AND DUMBER... "Samsonite? I was way off!"
UMass? I can deal with that. A trip to Boston, hopefully, in Autumn. A trip to Sam Adams brewing company!

Maybe the most important piece of info... All FBS schedule in 2016.

Just joking around. I've got no problem with you Big C. I enjoy your prediction articles, etc.bigCasu wrote:These things are crapshoots. Just don't like people posting cliffhanging information. There is no point to it at all.

Just got out of a meeting, man that sucks playing UMASS... certainly hoping for more favorable scheduling than this for our 2016 home slot.

UMass is a letdown considering the rumors going around, but I like that UMass is now a letdown for us. Expectations are starting to rise.
Having an all FBS is schedule is great!

Ok let me add this too.... I think Rick Beasley hurts himself when he says "this is another attractive FBS opponent". REALLY!!! He would have been better leaving that quote out.

Re: Listen to today's Around the Mountain-9-24-14
Worst option of any mentioned on this thread iMO, but honestly the one I was expecting.
I don't really care about an all-FBS schedule personally. I'd gladly replace one low-level FBS with an FCS if we could replace the other with someone who's got at least a little name recognition.
I guess the Boston road trip is a nice aspect, though.

Yeah, it's better than Campbell but probably the lowest regarded FBS team on our future schedules ---

This wasn't tease worthy by any means.
On the bright side we now have guaranteed six home games the next two years.
