Well oh great buffalo breath..guess you and a bunch of other loss predictors will have to settle for a App win! Hop e you didn't lay some money on it.
I take my crow well done with fried taters, with salad on side, and a tall glass of beer(s). :P

We have a real App Fan who eats crow. How about the other 7 of you that predicted a big loss?

I didn't predict a big loss, but did not think we had turned the corner yet. Glad I was wrong and that the coaches and team showed up. Glad to see the physicality back in play along with a great game plan. Very much improved. I'll take my crow with dressing and giblet gravy!

Now lets turn this into a trend! Keep it up team!

Has there been any significant movement as far as upper classmen losing playing time to the younger guys? If this is the case are we seeing better play from the younger guys? Definitely better line play, QB sacks and two PICS from a freshman. Imagine how well we do by eliminating stupid personal foul penalties. Man the Liberty and S. Miss games sting. Even if we only go 2-3 the rest of the way a .500 mark would not have been so bad. Got to find a way to win the bookend games and take down at least one more LA team. Awesome win Saturday.

We are seeing this more and more by the week. Offensive line started 1 sophomore and 2 freshman the past few weeks. Cox is a sophomore, Fergerson is a junior and Upshaw is a freshman.

Secondary played 2 juniors, a sophomore and a freshman the other day. Linebackers were Stringer (FR), Boggs (FR), Ward (JR), & Gilchrist (SO). DL was Benton (FR), Blair (JR), Dada (SO), Burns & Fernandez (JR), & Small (SO).

Biggest stat from the other day is that we did not have one tackle made by a senior.

I had a feeling we were trending that way. Not matter how the season ends we could be looking at returning players at every position who had significant playing time this year. How would that sound next season- App returns 11 players on offense and 11 players on defense- or very close to it.

Fair enough. I'll take mine in a honey pecan sauce with wild rice and broccoli casserole.

(Perhaps my Boyz to Men reference was apropos.) :D
