ALL HAIL, Indeed!
Get healthy, my friend. I'm going to be disappointed if we don't see you grace the Duncan Lot this fall.

Great job again, Moose!! We can't thank you enough for your tireless efforts to keep us all updated on our recruiting efforts, prospects and commitments. We have the utmost respect for such a true Mountaineer!

Moose, I dont know if you are familiar with Phil Kornblut down here in South Carolina but he is a highly touted recruiting guru here in the state that you remind me of. While he is mosly concentrating on the local schools he looks at kids all over the country. But I'm not sure he looks at any more than you do. He has a radio show and writes a newspaper column-maybe that's what you need to shoot for! Many thanks for your efforts

What is your take on the Southern Pigskin ranking our 2015 class #8 in the SBC?firemoose wrote:Not much I can say except THANKS, I'm happy to do this, and glad I can give at least a little info for everybody. I'm just one voice of a great group of members on this board and a part of the best fan base around. We are a strong, opinionated, quirky, slightly dysfunctional family on this board but the one thing that is universal and will never change is the love for our school. In the end that's what this is all about and the one thing that will always stay the same. I'm just glad to be a part of it.
Thanks again to everybody!!!! And on to the Class of 2016...

We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Again, Moose, take a well deserved bow. You are awesome young man. You've created a monster. What would we do without you. The aggregator of all things recruiting. For all those who bleed black and gold... thank you kind sir. I know you are resting (and probably setting up more pages for 2016) but do you know what the deal is with Gerald Morgan?

Moooooose!! Since you've elevated our insights to recruiting and all things APP... I elevated my game to make a donation to the S&C fund! Thanks for all you've done is still an understatement of your efforts!!!

Re: ALL HAIL - KING FIREMOOSE !!!
Hey Everyone. Sorry I haven't posted much since Wed but I had to take some time to do some much needed and past due computer repairs. I'm still working out a few bugs but I had to wait until after signing day was over to do this work.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words. It truly is a labor of love and hopefully I'll be able to keep everything going for a long time.
scatman: Personally I'm not concerned about rankings of any site. They are all over the place anyway if you look at all of them. We filled most areas of need that we had and we appear happy with who we got. Our coaches have a pretty good track record of finding players, as shown by the number of true freshmen who were starting and on the two deep by years end. And with all the shirts coming off we'll see even more improvements at several positions. We are building depth across the board and, while there is still work to do, we are setting a solid foundation for the long haul. The proof will be on the field.
AppFan11: Based on what I've read about Morgan we'll see how he finishes up this semester and then we'll know whether he can come in or has to go JUCO. Need to hope he can qualify because even if we suggest GMC he can go anywhere he wants when his two years are done. And from watching his film I expect him to have plenty of choices after his JUCO time if he goes that route. Fingers crossed for him to qualify.
appfanz: I am familiar with Phil Kornblut and have seen some posts from him. As you mentioned he does a real good job, especially with the local kids. I'm just a simply man with a computer but if things don't improve for me with these little health issues and I can't get back to my chosen field I might need to look at doing something like he does.
